The Price of Fashion

A Fashion Charity Auction and Debate Hosted by Droog, Moderated by Dutch Fashion Icon Aynouk Tan.

I developed and organised ‘The Price of Fashion’, a fashion charity auction that generated funds through auctioning
clothing items from well-known figures in the Dutch community. This auction was complemented with a debate uncovering the value of fashion, how its context changes when discussing it next to the refugee crisis,
and how clothing gains significance through experience, in effect – what is the price of fashion?

Refresh Boring Old Furniture With Smiling Screws And Glow-In-The-Dark Hinges.

As a way of extending the life of a product, Droog created the Construct Me! collection–a line of screws, nails, washers, nuts, hooks, brackets, hinges, and ties that let you upgrade and personalise cheap, or old furniture you already own, refreshing tired homeware. I was responsible for its press, its presentation at Milan Design Week, and accepted an award for the work as its honorary ambassador.
